CANDLE LIGHT PEACE PROCESSION OF RK PURAM CHURCHES To express the concern of the believers in and around RK Puram towards the Dilshad Garden Church incident, a Candle-Light Procession was organised on Sunday, 7th December by the churches in and around RK Puram namely, St.Thomas Church , St. Peters Parish , Ebenezer Church, Marthoma Church, Methodist Church, United Christian Church & Salvation Army Church. Applied for police permission on Saturday, the police did not allow the procession to take place through the pre-decided route. However the church authorities did manage a procession from St. Thomas Church, Sec-2 RK Puram to the Ebanesar Church on the Church Road, and then returned to the church. Thereafter a meeting was organised which was addressed by the priests and leaders of the community. The procession was peaceful and the speakers requested the community to remain calm and wait for action by the Govt agencies
