CARDIN AND CONYERS JOIN CIVIL RIGHTS GROUPS IN CALLING FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE END RACIAL PROFILING ACT Tuesday, July 30 at 11:00AM, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) will join civil rights groups in calling for passage of their legislation, the End Racial Profiling Act. The End Racial Profiling Act is legislation that is designed to protect minority communities by prohibiting the use of racial profiling by law enforcement officials. The End Racial Profiling Act is supported by 136 national organizations including the NAACP, Rights Working Group, the ACLU, Blacks in Law Enforcement in America and the Sikh Coalition.
