All employment is conditioned upon successful completion of all applicable background checks, including criminal record. “Our vision for every child, Life in all its fullness; Our prayer for every Heart, the will to make it so’ World Vision Tanzania is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position: Job Ref No: WVT/P&C/FY14/59 Job Title: Project Officers (2posts) Reports to: Project Coordinator Dream Village Location; Lake Eyasi Purpose of the position: To provide technical Support in designing, Implementing and monitoring Livelihood and Education private Non Sponsorship (PNS) Project. Communicate World Visions Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an example to others. Major Responsibilities • Take part in designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of livelihood and education PNS Project. • Assist the project coordinator to coordinate marketing activities (Photos, Video Recording, and Donor visit preparation. • Collect and compile livelihood and education PNS project information for monthly quarterly and annual accomplishment reports. • Take part in planning, facilitating and conducting trainings for Dream Village project. • Take part in documentation of best practices and lessons on livelihood and education project implementations. • Assist the coordinator in developing and updating monitoring and reporting formats • Engage in the preparation of quality information Education and Communication (IEC) materials in collaboration with Like Eyasi ADP team. • Participate in livelihood, education related workshops, trainings and meetings. • Promote major Cross cutting themes including environment, gender, protection, disability, peace building and Christian commitment. Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training: • Qualification required: BSC. Agriculture economics and Agri- business, Community development, BA. In Education and other social Sciences. • Experience: 2 - 4 years. • Preferred: Bsc.
