CAROLS HOME COOKING CHITTERLINGS: Today, as indicated, I missed - TopicsExpress

CAROLS HOME COOKING CHITTERLINGS: Today, as indicated, I missed out on the Da-Nite but I didnt miss out on Carols Home Cooking 5464 HWY 64 on Robersonville. Thats on Hwy 64 Alternate now, out by the Cemetery and Race Track. I was in the mood so I was a little off my diet and tried Carols home cooked barbecue but also asked for a sample of Carols Chitterlings...or as we called them on the farm, Chittlins. I noticed them on the menu for $5 for a half pint an $10 for a pint. I think a plate, prepared, runs about $11. Never had the courage to try them before now but my nice waitress and Carol were more than pleased to grant my wish. Below are the photos to prove it. A big thank you to Carol and her team for providing me with this (in my mind) Historical Experience. One more thing, if my friend, Dennis Rogers, wants to give Chittlins another try he needs to try them at Carols in Robersonville. Then if they are not pleasing to his taste, he can order a Bobby-Q Plate.
