We need qualified and experienced carpenters for Christchurch! - six years minimum experience as a carpenter - would comply with AWC Health and Safety Policy by working in a clean and safe approach at all times - would carry out tasks listed below in efficient and quality manner Job description will include but not limited to: - Complete building setout, set up profiles etc. - Box all foundations, including commercial large foundation systems - Pour concrete foundation - Box and set up slab pours - Box and pour insitu concrete columns - Box and pour insitu concrete beams - Install precast suspended floor slabs - Erect propping systems - Box and pour slab edges at high level - Construct precast tilt slab panels, beams and columns - Erection precast tilt panels, columns, beams and stairs - Erect temporary propping - Fix various structural steel, stelee to concrete items - Timber wall framing and strapping - Ceiling framing, roof and gutter framing - Fix finishing trim, (skirting, architraves, reveals, scotia’s , trim and finish) - Hang timber doors and frames - Fit joinery, (kitchens, benches, cupboards, vanities, and other joinery items) - Other tasks expected of an experienced carpenter Wages: Starting wage rate of $23.00 per hour for the first 40 hours, then time and a 1/3 after 40 hours, plus none taxable tool allowance of $1.00 per hour.
