CARRER OPPORTUNITY Property Manager About the Company ; ZEK Group International is a multinational corporation comprised of various companies across the African continent. Overall Purpose of this position: We are looking for a Property Manager . The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of construction project management or Architect or QS experience. Duties & Responsibilities: •Estate Management of properties in Tanzania •Oversee and manage construction projects in Tanzania. •Liaise with Contractor, SubContractor and Pro Team and report to Head of Properties. •Maintain current “stick” set of plans for all projects in the office. •Assist the Head of Properties in anticipating and avoiding problems that may affect the construction schedule and/or budget. •Approve and monitor to assure timely processing of invoices and subcontractor applications so payment will be made in time. •Prepare memos and minutes for meetings associated with the project. •Conduct job site safety meetings. •Inspect site for safety hazards and notify subcontractors or appropriate authority of same. •Confer with the Head of Properties regarding problems that may arise. Desired Skills and Experience This position requires working knowledge of construction planning, contract administration, and site management. •Ability to work with provided budgets and schedules and report to Head of Properties •Must possess the ability to develop, plan and direct and develop strong relationships with in house and outside Project Managers, General contractors, and subcontractors. •Ability to independently develop action plans in response to emergency, immediate and/or complex problems. Proactively communicates critical issues appropriately. •Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures. Possess excellent problem solving ability. •Knowledge of Autocad a plus.
