FROM 7:30pm-1:30am RICKY was born in Palermo, Sicily. After high school, he moved to Rome to study with the Cuban master Lazaro Martin Diaz. In the two years spent at the Cuban academy of salsa, he had the opportunity to study with masters such as Domingo Pau, George Dixon Davis, Luis Chacon Aspirina, perfecting movement and learning the dance as a culture. He returned to Palermo in 2004. He performed with various dance groups and with one of these he participated in events of national resonance like Evento People, Salsa World Festival, Salsitaly, Maremma que salsa, Neapolis in salsa, Unidos por la salsa, Latingroove Festival and many more. In the same year Ricky B worked as a DJ in the most popular clubs in Palermo. His genres of preference are those that combine high-level musical culture and traditions of the Caribbean. Over the years, his work continues on an ongoing basis and, simultaneously, brings together a large collection of salsa clasica, guaguancò, mambo, cha cha cha, boogaloo and pachanga that makes it unique among the DJs of Sicily. In 2013 his first musical production entitled No puedo amarte mas of which he is the author of the song, performer and director of the video, with the friendly co-operation of the international master choreographer Salvo Grillo. No puedo amarte mas is a bachata that combines the romantic theme sounds to R&B. For the composition and the musical arrangement Ricky B has used the creativity of the master Massimo Scalici.
