CASA volunteers protect children. When I became a CASA volunteer. I thought about all the people who stood up for my grandmother after her mother passed away giving birth to her little sister. She transitioned through relatives homes, an orphanage(what they used to call group homes), and family abuse. We can never thank the people that protected my grandmother, but I can step up and Advocate for another child In a comparable position. In loving memory Grandma
