CASE UPDATE The feedback from the meetings last week with the local police (Mossos d’Esquadra),The Prosecutor, and Spanish Lawyer was very encouraging with interesting information shared and discussions about the way forward. The case is now open and The Mossos d’Esquadra are keen to receive any information which can assist to establish the truth about Craig’s death. In liaison with Craig’s family and the Spanish Solicitor, various aspects of the case are being examined and lines of enquiry are being progressed by our Independent Review expert group which consists of high profile crime experts Professor David Wilson, Donal MacIntyre, David Swindle and other key individuals who have been involved in various activities in Lloret de Mar this year. The case is now at an important juncture and despite the fact it is 2 years since Craig died we are confident people who were in the area where Craig died will contact us, it is important to establish the truth about what happened that morning. As Craig’s mum Antoinette has been saying in the recent posters and radio interviews in Spain the person who inflicted that fatal blow may not be aware of what they did and they may not have intended to kill Craig. There are a lot of sensitivities surrounding the case which is now a live investigation and we have to be careful about publishing potential evidential issues at this time.
