CASTING CALL FOR A SHORT FILM, DISPARITY, M/F DELHI Working Title: DISPARITY; Short Fiction: 3-4 min. Synopsis: A chips seller boy wakes up alone in his dingy home and leaves for work. He meets a couple playing with their kid in a park and is moved by the love and affection which he is deprived of. ARTISTES ARE REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS: Main Character – BOY 9 to 10 years. Thin. wheatish or dark complexion. Expressive Featured – Kid 5 to 7 years. Fair. Expressive Featured – Lady Looks 30 – 35 years old. Should look matronly, stylish. Expressive. (Brief Dialogue) Must be fluent in Hindi. Featured – Man Looks 30 – 35 years old. Should look fatherly, stylish. Expressive. (Brief Dialogue) Must be fluent in Hindi. DATES: All artistes will be needed for 1 day of shooting any day between September 25 to October 10, 2013 (final date to be decided). Plus some addl. time for preparatory work, rehearsals etc. Please note that this is a study project being made as part of a fimmaking programme; we have very limited financial resources.
