CASTING CALL Production Title: Ainsley Vance Production Type: Student Film Project length: Short Film ( 5 minutes ) Director: Kate Landels Shooting Location: Capilano University, North Vancouver campus Compensation: None, Food will be provided SYNPOSIS~ Ainsley Vance sits in a police office being questioned by Mark, a typical police chief. She is relaying to him the events of a double murder that happened that night. Through a series of flashbacks, Ainsley’s story diverges farther from the truth, culminating in a flashback sequence in which Ainsley herself is revealed to be one of the killers. ROLE DESCRIPTIONS~ Ainsley Vance: (20 - 28) Ainsley is an intelligent, resourceful woman who is not afraid to use others for her personal gain. In particular, she believes she knows the weaknesses of men, and how to exploit them. Mark Valentine: (30 - 40) Mark always wanted to become a police officer, ever since his father became police chief and upstanding member of the force many years earlier. He has always lived by his father’s standards, which are to “protect the weak and defend the innocent” Chris Jones: (20 - 28) Chris is a petty criminal, robbing stores for cash. He has only two loves: money, and a woman called Ainsley Vance, the most stunningly attractive woman he has ever seen. Warren Jameson: (40 - 50) Warren is the owner and operator of a small, dingy restaurant. He’s comfortable and secure in his life and has no aspirations to move forward.
