CASTING CALL Student- Short film Genre: Thriller / Horror / Drama Need: 3 Males; Any race; Any height, build; 22-36 years of age. (Note: Character names subject to change.) Dumisani’s faith is tested to the limit, when he is forced to square off with the demonic entity that took his brother. Protagonist: “Dumisani” is a troubled young man, who manages to pull his fractured life together, through the healing power of faith. Now he must risk everything, in order to save his estranged brother. Supporting cast: “Xolani” is Dumisani’s friend and spiritual advisor. He helps guide the protagonist on this dangerous journey. He is a mature, measured and trustworthy man. Supporting cast: “Themba” is Dumisani’s estranged younger brother. He lost his young daughter and lost his faith, seeking solace in an alternative belief system. Now he comes up against an evil force that cannot be underestimated.
