CASTING CALL for an indy feature film shooting partly in Hong Kong tentatively from April 26th - May 5th. Two larger roles: 1) Woman, mid-to-late 20s, English-speaking role. Leaning toward a bright/smart personality. It would be a 5 or 6 day commitment. 2) Man, late 20s to mid 30s, mostly in English, but will also require some Cantonese. The rest of the roles are for a scene or two only: A) Woman in her 20s or 30s with a brief English-speaking role. B) Woman in her 60s or older for a Cantonese-only scene. Leaning toward grandmother-ish if thats a characteristic. C) Man in his 50s for an English-speaking part with very refined, sophisticated, mannerly characteristics. D) A variety of men (6 or 7) in their 20s to 40s for a mix of roles requiring English, Cantonese, or non-speaking. A variety of looks. All the parts are very low pay. It will be a tiny crew with basically no budget, but the time commitment on most of these is only a few hours.
