#CASTINGCALL for a bold, adventurous actress (age 20’s - 40’s, white) THE CURSE Keith & Margo’s Murder Mystery Texas (NON EQUITY) Seeking a bold, adventurous actress (age 20’s - 40’s, white) to play a leading role as a modern-day witch who can shape-shift into a werewolf at will for our Halloween production. No make-up or special effects will be used -- it will be all through acting. Must be able to convincingly imitate something resembling a vicous dog snarling and growling. We’re only looking for a woman who can really commit to this, and make it terrifying. We prefer someone with long hair -- but not required. Those auditioning will be emailed a short dialogue excerpt from the script to prepare. But mainly we will be wanting to see how well you can present a snarling, dangerous wolf-like creature to us using only your acting skills. Note: We are NOT looking for camp. This is NOT a comedy. PRODUCTION INFO: The production will play on Saturday evenings opening on September 14th and playing through November 2nd at The Crowne Plaza Galleria in Addison. PRODUCTION INFO: Rehearsals will be September 11th from 6:00 - 9:00pm (location TBA) and September 14th from 4:00 - 7:00pm at The Crowne Plaza Galleria in Addison. SHOW INFO: An ancient curse between two rival families can only be stopped if a female lycanthrope (or wolfen shape-shifter) can resist ripping out the throat of an innocent newlywed who is the heiress to a fortune. Add to the mix the newlywed’s greedy husband, his con-artist Mother -- posing as a psychic, and a professional assassin good with a blade and you have an evening of deception, intrigue, paranoia, murder, and mayhem... with a supernatural, Halloween twist.
