CAT ADOPTION As we start a New Year, may we remind our followers that our primary role as a Cat Protection Branch is to assist with the re homing of cats. If you are thinking that this is the year to adopt a cat, please bear us in mind. People come to us for assistance with neutering, for taking their cats into care when they can no longer keep them, but not enough people are coming to us to adopt a cat. Help us make this year our best for adopting cats into good homes. Share this with fellow cat lovers and pass the word that we have cats waiting for new homes. Why adopt from us? All our cats get the best veterinary care possible before being re homed. They are all neutered, vaccinated, flead, wormed and micro chipped. They come with an honest medical history and behavior record. We take great care to ensure we get the best match for cat and owner. All our fosterers have attended feline behavior training and offer helpful tips on a smooth introduction for a new cat into a family. No cat is the same and as much as we think weve seen it all before, none of us really have. Feline behavior is sophisticated and at times complicated to us, we are very happy to pass on our experience to people willing to listen. The smallest of changes can change a grumpy cat into a happy cat. Below are 2 cats waiting for a home each. Smokie, grey tabby male thought to be anything from 8 years up.
