This week, pro-amnesty Catholic organizations are organizing a pro-amnesty phone-in for Catholics who are in favor of amnesty for illegal aliens. These organizations will be asking their supporters to call their Members of Congress and tell them that the vast majority of Catholics in America support giving illegal aliens legal status, work permits, and a pathway to citizenship. As a Catholic American, you know this simply isnt true. Polling conduced by Pulse Opinion Research shows that most Catholic Americans dont support amnesty and would rather focus on putting jobless Americans back to work. Your Three Members of Congress, Street Address, City, State Zip Dear Your Three Members of Congress, I wanted to let you know that a new NBC News poll shows that the American center -- more than half of the population -- opposes giving illegal aliens a pathway to citizenship. According to the poll, the American Center consists of four distinct groups: Minivan Moderates, the MBA Middle, Pick-up Populists, and WhateverMan. This group, when taken together, comprise more than 50% of the American population. When this group was asked if they supported providing illegal aliens with a pathway to citizenship, only 12% of this group strongly support giving illegal aliens a path to citizenship while 38% strongly oppose this. Overall, 54% of the center oppose giving illegal aliens a path to citizenship while only 32% support it. Its clear that the American people, particularly the moderate center, do not support giving illegal aliens any special benefits.
