CAUGHT ON CAMERA???? Really???? No it wasnt, it was filmed by the police officers from the moment they started to unload the tree. It was filmed by the Sergeant while he narrates their act of kindness toward the little girl. Listen to his words and the prompting he does. And why has it been posted on social media by the Boynton Beach Police Department???? If it was caught on camera as a true impromptu act of kindness it would have been posted by someone other than the law enforcement agency the officers are employed by, no???? Now to be fair, the following is a true act of kindness by a cop..........I posted this incident (when I saw the reporting of it on television 2 years ago) on my Facebook wall because it was truly an unstaged act of kindness. Here is the original reporting......Notice the act was caught by a tourist in Times Square who posted it on social media sites....as it should be. POSTED 10:55 PM, NOVEMBER 26, 2013, BY JEREMY TANNER, UPDATED AT 11:05PM, NOVEMBER 26, 2013.| NEW YORK (PIX11) Call it a Thanksgiving bonus for nearly 200 New York police officers. All were promoted Tuesday, bumped up in various ranks during two different ceremonies. At one of ceremonies, Officer Larry “boots” DePrimo got a foot into a bigger door. The 26-year-old cop became an overnight Internet sensation a year ago when he bought a barefoot homeless man a pair of boots, in Times Square. A tourist saw the act of kindness and snapped a photo. Today DePrimo was given a merit promotion to detective. DePrimo has been on the force for three years.
