CAUTION: I had a rather dreadful experience with a company - TopicsExpress

CAUTION: I had a rather dreadful experience with a company recently that I would like to share as a cautionary tale. I received a new workbag from my patient as a Christmas present. I was excited since my old work bag has churned for hours and pounds. I got a bubble magic 5 gallon 220u workbag. I had never heard of the brand. I loaded it with a mostly nug run 80% nugs 10% popcorn and 10% sugarleaf. I wanted to make a nice nug run nice IWE works better for my patient than flowers. It was about a 1/2 lb of dried material and I still had some room in the bag if I wanted to put more it. I soaked and ran the machine for 4-5 mins. I drained the machine and to my surprise the filters were full of vegetative material. I took a closer look at the bag and it was splitting at the seams after 5 minutes!! WTF kind of garbage is this? I tried looking up bubble magic online and its a website thats under construction with no email or phone number or way to get a hold of them. Shady. I asked my patient who the seller was on Amazon. I contacted Hydroponics Nation and talked to Ashlee. She said she sold other bags since that one seemed defective if it only lasted 5 minutes. She gave me info for bubble magic. I called bubble magic and talked to Nick. Nick was rather rude on the phone and dismissive. He said they make mistakes at the factory and it happens and to send him a picture. I asked where the factory was or if they have quality control considering the cost or value of the material used in it. He never told me where the factory was and wanted to get off the phone and not deal with the situations of another defective product. I emailed him within an hour of talking to him. This was on January 31st. I havent receive a phone call or heard back from Nick at bubble magic or from Ashlee at Hydroponic Nation. I just got off the phone with Ashlee at Hydroponic Nation. I guess Nick told her he sent a replacement bag to me. I wouldnt have called if I knew that. She said she would follow through and try and help me since she said she would the last time we talked. She said she had other bags and then offered to give me a refund on the defective bag that could go towards another bag. She then tried to upsell me to another bag and spend more money with her company. She got frustrated with me since I didnt want to spend more money since they already sold me a defective product. She got mad and hung up on he. I called back and asked what the tracking number was for the replacement bag. She didnt have one. She said she was frustrated. I said I am pretty frustrated too and just want a bag that works. Grrrr Hopefully it works out. Time will tell. Ill see if get a email with a tracking # or a bag that works or something.
