CBCs obsession with real estate and technology over content and creativity frustrates me immensely. They are fundamentally on the wrong track at the highest level of management. Silly old men imagining tall hard erections of buildings while audiences flock (as they always do) to great story-tellers from HBO to Oasis HD. CBC is pathologically deceptive about numbers. If the same people who provided the math for this story negotiated the lease its no wonder their budget is in trouble. 57,000 is not 30% of 86,000. 70% less than 86,000 would be about 25,800. Im not sure if this bad math makes the Herald or CBC look worse.
