CCIS is Looking for a Client Support Worker that will be based in Calgary. If you have been a Temporary Foreign Worker before and now a Permanent Resident who can be fluent in English and Spanish , this is your chance to apply for the position. (only for permanent resident and Canadian Citizen) Position Available: Full-time Client Support Worker The TFW Support Services under the BETS Division is looking for a full-time Client Support Worker to meet the needs of Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) in Calgary and the neighboring towns. Position Description: • Counsel TFWs and employers by offering solutions to their inquiries and making appropriate referrals • Establish relationships with various cultural/ethnic communities in Calgary and the neighbouring towns, and be the point of contact. • Engage & communicate with the stakeholders the TFW Support Services program. • Organize, promote, facilitate workshops and information sessions for TFWs and employers Preferred Qualifications/ Requirements: • University Degree or equivalent in Sociology, Human Resources, Psychology, or any People focused discipline • Good understanding of TFWs settlement issues • Strong counseling skills and ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds • Strong relationship with community organizations in Calgary and the neighbouring towns • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel & Powerpoint • Able to speak Spanish fluently is a strong asset Please email your resume with cover letter to: Jessica Juen at [email protected] not later than July 30, 2013.
