CCNV Presents: Preserving the Harvest Basic Canning Techniques for Pickles & Tomatoes! With Baji Hantelman of Wookey Ranch Location: TBA Monday, August 26th, 2013 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Instructions on the materials and process of hot water bath canning for high acid foods. Demonstration plus actual hands-on learning for participants, and will be able to take some yumminess home with them. Pre-Registration is required at cultivatingcommunitynv.org Price for Income-Eligible participants: Free. Price for Income-Ineligible participants: $10. Paid day of event at sign-in table. Class size limited to 20. **Participants may attend one class. Priority will be given to people whom have not yet attended this particular class. We will put your name on a waiting list. If the class does not fill, we will let you take the class again. These classes were very popular last year and class size is limited so we want to be fair by offering multiple classes, as well as giving everyone an opportunity to attend. Thank you.
