CEA Agreement Approved by Board of School Directors On Tuesday, April 10, 2014, the Board of School Directors held a Special Board Meeting to vote upon an agreement between the Cheltenham Educators’ Association and the School District of Cheltenham Township. The Board of School Directors in collaboration with the Cheltenham Educators’ Association (CEA) is pleased to announce that effective with the board vote on April 10, 2014, a successor agreement has been established. This agreement extends the terms of the current contract through June 30, 2016 and provides for salary adjustments that reflect the commitment of both parties to demonstrate continuing fiscal responsibility while maintaining excellence in education for children. The schedule includes a new step the year prior to reaching career level, thus lengthening the time required to achieve the last step in the matrix.
