CEDA is looking to fill an Information Technology/Communications Specialist position in Chicago. We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic candidate to maintain responsibility for supporting Energy Services Department end-users, computers and network systems, which includes web center, hardware, operating systems, and data communication requirements, including cell phones. Also includes learning and keeping abreast of new technologies in these areas, and providing services related to system conversions, installations and integrations, troubleshooting and system maintenance. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field, with at least two (2) years’ professional experience working with computers/networks; OR, Associates degree from an accredited college, or professional certification, with three (3) to five (5) years’ work experience in technologies related to job description. Industry recognized IT Certification (e.g., Microsoft, A+, Network+, Cisco, etc.) a plus.
