CELEBRATE KWANZAA: The DuSable Museum will present Kwanzaa: The Celebration of Family, Community and Culture, each day from Friday, December 26 through Wednesday, December 31. Each day at 1:00 PM a special candle lighting ceremony devoted to each principal of Kwanzaa will take place. “Umoja” – 12/26; “Kujichagulia” – 12/27; “Ujima” – 12/28; “Ujamaa” – 12/29; “Nia” – 12/30; and “Kuumba” -12/31. A special Kwanzaa Family Day will take place on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM. Admission is FREE. Don’t miss our very special Candle lighting Ceremonies!
