CELEBRATE MEXICO & HELP SERBIA! This Sunday June 1st those visiting Mikser House will have the opportunity to experience Mexico for one day through the national cuisine and folklore of this far away country, and at the same time help victims of recent floods in Serbia. Starting at 10am the program consists of workshops for children and grownups, in which the participants will learn how to make paper flowers, Mexican Lucha Libre paper masks, and more. Serbs who have lived in Mexico will share their experiences with members of the Mexican community in Serbia, sharing personal stories and comparing both countries. And after the selling exhibition of Juan Pablo Delgado, Vladimir Ivanovic and Zarko Andrejic, a percentage of which will also be donated to the same cause, the folkloric ensemble Talija which has been performing for over 15 years all over the world with various programs will present traditional dances from Jalisco. And to start getting in the mood for the closing party, starting at 7pm there will be a raffle and a piñata for grownups with various prizes donated by sponsors: Cervantes Institute, el Nuevo escondite, Andy Townend author of Belgrade Streets, MargaritaS, Zapata, and many more!!
