CELEBRATING DEAF AWARENESS MONTH WITH SIGN LANGUAGE! Come join us at the KwaZulu-Natal Blind and Deaf Society and be introduced to South Africa’s 12th Unofficial Language Our FREE South African Sign Language Classes will be taking place during the month of September when Deaf Awareness Month is celebrated. This course is aimed at those with no previous acquaintance of Sign Language, and is designed to get you conversing in it as soon as possible. It introduces you to facets of deaf culture, grammatical features of Sign Language, Lexicon and conversational skills. As part of Deaf Awareness month you are entitled to one free class which will be held on the 3rd, 10th 17th of September 2014. Booking is essential as space is limited; book your place immediately since the first come, first served rule will apply. Groups and Corporate Organizations that are interested in learning SA Sign Language are welcome to contact us; we would be happy to customise a package according to your needs at a reasonable fee.
