CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF CHRIST (A) The most important event in the history of humankind was the birth of Jesus Christ. It was Divinity connecting humanity and it is the center fulcrum of human history. WHY DO WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF CHRIST? 1. Abuse is inevitable when reason and purpose is not known 2. Wastage is inevitable where purpose is not known. WHAT WE CELEBRATE AT CHRISTMAS: 1. We celebrate the birth of The Way (John 14:6). One of the greatest challenges of humanity is direction WHAT IS HUMANITY LOOKING FOR? 1. A way to find spiritual fulfillment 2. How to live in order to end well THINGS TO NOTE: 1. You cannot miss the road if you follow Jesus, the Way 2. You don’t end in regrets following Jesus, the Way 3. You can’t end your journey half way following Jesus, the Way CONSEQUENCES OF LACK OF CONNECTION TO THE WAY 1. Connection with destructive alternatives 2. Existence in confusion and frustration 3. Failure to make profitable spiritual progress HOW TO RESPOND TO THE BIRTH OF CHRIST: 1. Follow the Star; follow Jesus whole heartedly. Don’t let anybody’s face kill your faith. Don’t let anybody’s inaction kill your passion.
