CELTIC GAMES SANTRY Ireland -Scotland & Wales were in action today at Santry stadium in damp conditions. Bohermeen athletes Kevin McGrath & Kelly Brady both made the podium . Kevin won the under 16 1500mts in 4-06mins and ended a great season which saw him win 4 National track titles over 800 & 1500 ,when he won both indoor and outdoor titles .Posting personal bests over 1500mts (3-58) and 800mts (1-54) and recently represented Ireland in the SIAB athletic games in Cardiff. Kelly today placed in 3rd place today in the under 18 Hammer contest in the development squad competition, Kelly threw the 3k Hammer over 47 mts despite carrying a bad shoulder injury .Kelly also enjoyed a great season ending up winning a National silver medal in the under 18 girls Hammer event recently posting a new personal best for the 3k Hammer of 49-52mts .Congratulations to all Irish athletes in action today.
