CELTIC PARK INFO FOR IRELAND & ENGLAND INTERNATIONALS - Thu, 13th November. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOLLOWING on from hosting the opening of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Celtic Park will again be the centre of attraction outwith hosting the Hoops with two important international games for Scotland on the immediate horizon. THE Club is immensely proud to be hosting Scotland’s European Championship qualifier against the Republic of Ireland this Friday evening and the match against England on Tuesday. Celtic Football Club welcomes the supporters of each team but we are aware that many may not be familiar with the stadium or its surroundings on entering and exiting the ground and all supporters are asked to arrive early. The following information should be read by all supporters attending both fixtures. EXITING CELTIC PARK Due to the width of Janefield Street, as it passes under the North Stand at Celtic Park, certain restrictions are in place which reduces pedestrian traffic in the area at the end of the match. Spectator safety is of paramount importance and you are asked to follow the directions of Safety Stewards or Police Scotland --------------------------------------- Scotland v Republic of Ireland, Friday, November 14 - Republic of Ireland Supporters Republic of Ireland fans are located in Sections 118,119 and 120 in the south east radial. Access to this area is via Turnstiles 62 – 67 and by approaching the stadium on Kinloch St, at its junction with London Rd. It will not be possible to approach the away turnstiles from the front of the stadium or via the concourse outside the east of the Stadium due to external segregation. Republic of Ireland fans departing the stadium at the end of the game may be held within the stadium for a short period of time after the final whistle. On exiting they will be directed on to Kinloch St and thereafter London Rd. Republic of Ireland fans will not be permitted to travel north into Janefield St or west to access the front of the Stadium. - Scotland Supporters Scotland supporters are located in the South Stand, West Stand upper and lower, North Stand upper and lower and the Upper and Lower East stand. Scotland fans accessing the stadium will not be allowed into the segregated area adjacent to Kinloch St. On exiting after the game, the silver gates is the centre of Janefield St will be closed and as a result Scotland supporters will be unable to travel east or west on Janefield St. Fans located in the east side of the north stand (105- 109 and 405-410) will be directed towards Springfield Rd and fans in the west side of the stadium (101 -104 and 401 -404) will be directed to Holywell St/Gallowgate or towards the Clyde Gateway Rd. It will not be possible to travel east to west on Janefield St during this period of time or vice versa ----------------------------------------------------------- Scotland v England, Tuesday, November 18 - England Supporters England fans are located in Sections 115-120 lower, and 417-419 upper in the east stand. Access to this area is via Turnstiles 55 – 67 and by approaching the stadium on Kinloch St at is junction with London Rd. It will not be possible to approach the away turnstiles from the front of the stadium or via the concourse outside the east of the stadium due to external segregation. England fans departing the stadium at the end of the game may be held within the stadium for a short period of time after the final whistle. On exiting they will be directed onto Kinloch St and thereafter London Rd. England fans will not be permitted to travel north into Janefield St or west to access the front of the Stadium.
