CENTRA first has had a GM convicted of bank fraud; John Aman. The sentence comes after Aman, a former vice president at Huntington National Bank and West Union Bank, pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud out of an 11 count indictment, which charged him with obtaining loans by abusing the power of attorney designated to him by an elderly in-law. Aman is currently the general manager of the Central West Virginia Transit Authority. The defense, government and CENTRA have all stated his crimes did not involve his work with the bus service. The CENTRA board stood behind Aman during his legal proceedings, even giving him a raise at one point. Bridgeport had its mayor convicted of drug charges, to put it kindly. Why should I, his actions do not deserve such kindness. Super Mario dispensed over 11,000 Oxycodone and Oxymorphone pills for Non-legitimate medical purposes. I ask you to stop and think about that number of pills for a minute. How many overdoses have we seen in Harrison county in the past three years that have left children with one parent or with no parent to care? Thank Mayor, Pharmacist, and GM Blount for those pill Over Doses, on top of having a VERY direct hand in our county landing on the HITDA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area). Nature abhors a vacuum. Clarksburg city councilman Lopez was convicted of spousal abuse after he signs a Domestic Violence Awareness paper that obviously meant just as much as a urinal cake to ol Zeke. Of course, this was AFTER two police officers lost their careers covering for him, only God knows why... and we citizens who try our damnedest to get him removed from city council get to hear him whine, cry, and play victim to the Clarksburg Police Department every time we tried to confront him. Sorry narcissistic jackass is still seated on city council, claws dug in... Repugnant. Then the CENTRA board shows more stunningly poor judgement by approving the GMs return to his position after he serves his sentence... then also selected Lopez to fill the general manager position at a $35,000 per year salary. I also hear that the union is anything but happy about the boards selection. I sincerely hope you all get more justice than you have been shown, you deserve better! At one time Rick Rock was listed as an employee of CENTRA... yet not one person on staff can explain why when I inquired. Nah, nothing at all fishy going on there. **Shakes my head** CENTRA has a STRICT policy for hiring employees. The possible hires must go through a background search from the FBI and have NO RECORD OF ANY SORT!! I have heard of something as small as a misdemeanor coming up and being grounds for a NO hire. Yet, once you are hired its a free for all, especially for board members! Just look above, I mean come on. Harrison county is SUCH a class act, I can hardly contain my pride in my home town of Clarksburg-West Virginia. I have decided to explain my last sentence is to be read in EXTREME sarcasm, as tone is impossible to discern on the internet. So, anyone care to step up and battle this worthy cause along side me and a few other GOOD citizens?
