CEPF - Calls for Proposals New Call: East Melanesian Islands - Papua New Guinea Call for Letters of Inquiry REGION: East Melanesian Islands Biodiversity Hotspot This is the second call for LoIs issued by IUCN and CEPF for the East Melanesian Islands Hotspot. This call for LoIs is restricted to proposals covering eligible parts of Papua New Guinea. The call is also restricted to Investment Priorities 1.1, 1.2, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 from the overall strategy in the ecosystem profile, which establish a foundation of capacity and partnerships on which future calls for proposals will build. Date: Small and large grants: 3 September 2013 Deadline: Small and large grants: 28 October 2013 REGION: East Melanesian Islands Biodiversity Hotspot This is the first call for LoIs issued by IUCN and CEPF for the East Melanesian Islands Hotspot. This call for LoIs is restricted to proposals covering the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. It is intended that projects ineligible parts of PNG will be covered in future calls. The call is also restricted to Investment Priorities 1.1, 1.2, 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 from the overall strategy in the ecosystem profile, which establish a foundation of capacity and partnerships on which future calls for proposals will build. Date: Small and large grants: 19 August 2013 Deadline: Small and large grants: 14 October 2013 REGION: Caribbean Islands Biodiversity Hotspot This call is open to biodiversity conservation projects implemented by civil society and focused in the following countries in the Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bahamas, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
