CESD-FES International Conference Materials On-line Available CESD-FES International Conference on Evaluation and Modeling of Comparative Advantages in non-oil sector in Azerbaijan with participation of representatives from more than 90 stakeholders including government agencies, parliament, think tanks, international communities, academia, NGOs and mass media held on October 24, 2013 in Baku, Azerbaijan The main objective of the conference was to define identify as well as to justify advantageous sectors in order to achieve appropriate diversification in the country’s economy. The expedient sub-sectors of non-oil sector are analyzed deeply within the framework of the research, and the final recommendation package is developed based on which sub-sector(s) present a comparative developmental advantage for Azerbaijan.
