CG training centers hosts Perfect Storm presentation CAPE MAY, N.J. - The Coast Guard Training Center Cape May will host a presentation by Cmdr. Bill Moeller (USCG Ret.) at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 13. Moeller will discuss the inside story of the Coast Guard Cutter Tamaroas 1991 rescue effort of a downed Air National Guard helicopter crew, an event featured in Sebastian Jungers book The Perfect Storm and the film of the same name. Having served as a junior officer aboard the Tamaroa at the time, Moeller will share his eye-witness account of this harrowing event. This event is free and open to the public.
