CHALLENGES When you pass through the waters, I will be with you: and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned: neither shall the flame kindle upon you - Isaiah 43:2 Life would have been so enjoyable and blissful had it been there are no challenges or obstacles in it. In fact, it would have been so rosy when things go smoothly without any hurdles in life. Challenges are periods of difficulty or problems which people experience in life. Some are time related or caused by making poor decisions, while others may not be determined. The disciples do not expect that the wind would be contrary in their journey (Matt. 14:24). Whether youre educated or not, wealthy or poor, spiritual or carnal: youll someday experience one challenges or the other. There are no marriages that will not have its own challenges. But when this happens, what is the solution? God is readily available to help those in one challenges or the other. He sees the raging storms, He knows it is contrary but He will not do anything if you do not make any move. Until the disciples called Jesus attention to the storm, He didnt do anything (Luke 4:38-39). Whats the challenge youre presently facing in life? Unemployment, hardship, marital delay, sickness, bondage of sin, oppression, addiction, poor health or lack of accommodation? All you need to do is to look up to Him for help. Run to no one for help because vain is the help of man. Invite Him into your life because Hes waiting to help you. Call His attention to that problem through persistent prayers. There are no challenges that seem too big to solve. But when you see your challenges too big than God, youll be defeated. Wont you call Him now? Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me victory over this challenge (name it) Im facing in Jesus name.
