Joyzy Pius Egunjobi, has been active in the Youth Ministry at all levels in Nigeria since his seminary days. And since his ordination years ago, he has served as Oyo Diocesan and Ibadan Provincial Chaplain of the Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON), Oyo Diocesan Chaplain to the Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS), Diocesan and State Deputy Chaplain to the National Association of Catholic Corps Members (NACC). Being a Youth himself and working closely with Youths has made him conversant with the problems of Nigerian Youths in general and Catholic Youths in particular. Many Catholic Youths are now eager to get themselves rid of ignorance of their faith. They are seeking knowledge by asking questions about their faith. Fr. Joyzy Pius Egunjobi has answered many of these questions over time at youth meetings. He published tracts for the same purpose. Challenging My Faith is another attempt to answer in a comprehensive manner some questions, which both Catholics and non-Catholics ask about the Catholic Faith. This Vol. 1 deals with THE HOLY TRINITY – the Foundation of Christian Faith. Vol. 2: deals with the questions about the Church, The Blessed Virgin Mary and Her Husband Joseph, and The Saints. Vol. 3 addresses the issues of The Seven Sacraments while Vol. 4 answers questions on The Bible and the Tradition, and General Questions. This volume is written in simple conversational style and should make easy and enjoyable reading for both young and old.
