CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CANCELS HALLOWEEN "TRICK OR TREAT ON SAFETY STREET" and HALLOWEEN "TRICK OR TRUNK" According to a press release issued by The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber has reviewed their holiday program schedule and as such has decided not to proceed with a Halloween event this year, usually held on Sherman Green. The Chamber stated that each year the event became larger and larger thus creating a shortage of manpower, volunteer availability and program management. The Chamber apologizes for any inconvenience. According to the press release, The Chamber will continue its interest in exploring and providing community programs that are both engaging for residents and beneficial to its members.
