CHANGE TO 2015 BARREL BASH (TM) SCHEDULE (this is the April 10-12 event only - please read below) website will be updated tonight. The April 10-12, 2015 Barrel Bash (TM) has been moved to Topeka, KS (from Lincoln, NE). We have been attempting to negotiate a final contract with the facility in Lincoln, NE since last October. We were given one contract then asked to throw it out as they needed to make revisions. We received the revised contract after Jan 1, 2015 and have been attempting to negotiate the details since that time and both parties decided today that choosing another location would be in our best interest (this is for the April event only). The contract for the Bonus Race Finals is signed for June and we are now waiting on the October contract for the fall Barrel Bash (TM) and hoping details can be worked out. April is a risky time of year (weather - total entry numbers, etc) and the risk with the pricing on the LEC contract was just too large for a group like ours for that time of year. The Kansas Exp Centre is more than willing to work with us and welcomed us with open arms. We will also be giving a saddle away by drawing (sponsored in part by the KS EXP CENTRE) to those that attend all 3 days of the Big J Barrel Blast at the KS Expo Centre in March and the Barrel Bash (TM) in April at the KS Expo Centre - Topeka, KS.
