CHAPLAINS CORNER.....JANUARY 11, 2015 My dear brothers and sisters at the Glendale Police Department, Well, my dear Phoenix friends...thank you for sending winter down to northern Florida. It has been so cold and we even had some snow flurries. But I must remember, cold is Wisconsin and Minnesota where we have family living! I miss summer, yes even in Arizona! Are you burdened with a heavy cross or concern? Maybe you or a loved one has a serious illness? Unsaved loved ones. Financial difficulties. Divorce or separation. A wondering, rebellious child. God is able to take care of these matters. God only has to speak..... We really do not comprehend the power of our omnipotent God. When God created the earth and all of the plants, animals, oceans, deserts, mountains, islands, God spoke them into existence. Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. “Then God said is found in Genesis 1: 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 24. God only spoke when He created the first human being, Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” These are just a few examples from the book of JOB illustrating how God only speaks His will into being...Job 38:34 Job 37:5-6 Job 39:27 “God thunders with His voice wondrously, Doing great things which we cannot comprehend.” “For to the snow He says, ‘Fall on the earth,’and to the downpour and the rain, ‘Be strong.’ “Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes his nest on high? Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, So that an abundance of water will cover you? Go to God knowing your situation is possible for God to handle with only a word. Trust that God is doing the very best for you. Know, as a child of God, all of your needs are being met by an omnipotent, omniscience, omnipresent God. Pray with faith! God is enough! I am carrying you in my heart and prayers. Please submit your life to the Lordship and saving grace of Jesus Christ. Stay hydrated and allow JESUS[DD1] to go before you!
