CHARACTERISTICS OF HAPPY LIFE--CHARAKA SAMHITA - SUTRA 30/24 The one who desires for the good for everyone, who doesn’t desire to get the things of the others, who is speaking the truth always, SHAMA – with a peaceful mind, does all works after proper thinking, who doesn’t want to hurt anyone, who is doing properly all works of DHARMA, ARTHA, KAAMA, who worships and respects all who are capable of worshipping, who is endowed with GYAANA (knowledge) and VIGYAAN (logic), who has a noble character, who takes care of the elders, who manages these quaulities well – attachment, anger, jealousy, pride and ego, who which is always indulged in the process of giving, who is always into the TAPA (hardworking) and getting knowledge, who is always interested in the quest for finding self, who is taking care for this LOKA (the world) as well as PARALOKA (other than this world), who has a good memory – the life of a person like this is the best, the opposite of this is worse.
