CHARITY CAR WASH CHARITY CAR WASH CHARITY CAR WASH acar2go were very Happy to have been approached to support and Sponsor the Charity Car Wash in aid of the Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital. I would like to Thank Danielle Cox, the Manager at the Charter Pub and Restuarant for organising the event and making it happen, the culmination of a week long drive to raise funds for this very worthy cause is tomorrow (Sunday 2nd November) when the Charter is once again hosting yet another event to include a Grand Raffle. There are so many prizes that they are too numerous to mention but suffice to say that the odds of you winning one are substantially better than the National Lottery. Like the National Lottery you have to be in it to win it, to demonstrate your further support for this Great and Worthy cause you could buy some raffle tickets which are available at the bar. I would also like to Thank 3 members of my staff, John McPhail, Tyler Barker and Dale Moore who gave up valuable time on their weekend off to make the Car Wash a success. Thanks also to the Charter staff and friends for their sterling hard work, I lost count of the amount of cars that we washed today but I think it was over 20 and in just 4 hours thats not too shabby. The sum raised was £140 which acar2go have matched so the figure at the end of a knackering day for all is £280 but as I like round figures (Its and OCD thing) I will round it up to £300 Thank you also to all of the people that allowed us amatuers loose on their cars including some Freemasons from my Lodge, members of the public in general and other friends, family and customers of acar2go. Thanks also to Mix 96 Radio Station for helping us to publicise this event on the air yesterday and today. So many people to Thank, your Lucky I havent won an Oscar :-) :-) Mark Duncan Director acar2go Limited :-) :-) :-) :-)
