CHARLES CHESTER CHET OSTRANDER: CHET is one of seven siblings who were children of Salem Caushes Ostrander and Anna Viola Ostrander. He was the third born of the seven and the second born son. His siblings are: Sara Belle Ostrander Stanton, George Gilbert Ostrander. Alma Ann Ostrander Morgan. Vesta Viola Ostrander Furnish. Salem Samuel Sam Ostrander. Ruby Ruth Ostrander Marsh. Chet was born 9 Aug 1885, in Orange, Ionia County, Michigan. Chet married Anna Mae Farmer the 27 Nov 1907 at Gowen, Montcalm County, Michigan. Chet and Ann had four children, two daughters and two sons. The daughters were: (1.) Dorothy Louise, 1910-1937. Dorothy Louise Ostrander married Robert George Gee Sr. about 1925. They had three daughters, their names are: Betty Mae Gee White Davis, who was born in 1927. Anna M. Gee Salters. Anna was born in 1929. Beulah Mae Gee Piercefield, born in 1934. (2.) Lillian Viola Ostrander, who was born, 25 Aug 1908, at Ionia. Lillian married Robert Elmer Lowery, 1904-1973. Lillian died 20 Aug 1958. Robert and Lillian are both buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Muir, Ionia County, Michigan. Robert and Lillian had three daughters. They are: Katheryn Louise Lowery Herald born in 1926. Maxine Ann Lowery Cowan, born in 1929. Lois Jean Lowery LaFontzee, born in 1936. The sons were: (3.) Harold Chester Ostrander, 1913-1992. Harold married Helen M. Brayman. Harold and Helen had three daughters: They are: Leone Lee Ann Ostrander Connor, born in 1933. Laura Lee Ostrander Carlson. Laura was born in 1940. Gloria Shelene Ostrander Cole. Gloria was born in 1947. Samuel Caushses Ostrander II, 1917-1985. (4.) Salem Caushes Ostrander married Llewela Ruth Hatinger. Salem Caushes and Llewela Ostrander had one daughter. Her name is Bernadine Elizabeth Ostrander Pullum. Bernadine was born in 1940.
