CHATEAUGAY 51, MADRID-WADDINGTON 49 The Bulldogs pull out a come back win on the road against previously unbeaten Madrid-Waddington. Down eight in the second quarter, Chateaugay would tie the game only to see the Jackets Harrison Van Buren pop in a three pointer with 2.5 seconds left in the first half to give the home team a 25-22 halftime lead. The Bulldogs scratched out a 15-11 third quarter to go up by one on a three pointer by PEPSI PLAYER OF THE GAME Derek Labare. Then Chateaugay went on an 8-0 run in the fourth quarter to go up 48-41. Madrid-Waddington got within one at 48-47, but with 1:04 to play Austin Greens put back gave Chateaugay a 50-47 lead. Mike Thew answered with a lay up late to get back within one. Forced to foul, the Jackets sent Zack Cowen to the line. He went one for two from the charity stripe, missing the second shot and giving Madrid-Waddington a chance at the buzzer that fell short.
