CHECK ME OUT As LPGA Tour players globe trot around the world on a weekly basis, it’s not easy to have input from swing coaches on a consistent basis and many have found technology to be their best friend when it comes to getting tips from coaches back home. Just ask Lydia Ko. Ko, who works with David Leadbetter and Sean Foley, said she has been keeping things very simple and doesn’t want to “overcomplicate things.” But when she wants some input from her help back in the States, Ko uses the video analysis software V1. “I sent some swings to him video-wise. And he gave me some tips with Sean. So that is sort of like a good quick fix. I obviously haven’t seen him for a few weeks. I’d love for him to be onsite but it works for when he’s not here.” Halfway across the world, Ko is getting instant feedback from Leadbetter and Foley. “It’s a network where I take the video and put it on there and put it in Sean’s locker and then text him and say ‘can you look at these.’ And goes into his locker and checks it out with David.
