CHECK OUT MY LATEST BLOG! During my hiatus last month, I had a rare chance to watch BASIC CABLE, which I honestly hadnt been able to do in years. I found some REALITY SHOWS that I actually liked, for intellectual intrigue as well as ENTERTAINMENT value, such as STORAGE WARS, and I was gonna write a praise piece about them, but then, I started researching a bit, (I know Im a little late to this, but...) and found the DAVE HESTER LAWSUIT, where he claims the show is FAKE, and that he was FIRED from the series for COMPLAINING about some of the PRODUCERS TACTICS. Well, on hand, its DISPOSABLE REALITY TV, sure, and many things are constantly STAGED or EDITED and some they arent even hiding, Im more-than-aware with how these shows are made, EXCEPT, this is a COMPETITION SHOW, isnt it? Thats tiptoeing the FEDERAL LAW actually if its actually fixed. And if it is, HOW? And more importantly, WHY?, its a competition, was there a reason the show needed to STAGE AUCTIONS and PLANT ITEMS in the LOCKERS, even if they were from OTHER STORAGE LOCKERS? Im taking a knowledgeable persons LOOK at the CLAIMS, and the PRACTICES, and try to answer some of these questions and claims, as we walk that THIN CHARLES VAN DOREN LINE between what is REALITY, what is COMPETITION, and does what you call yourself mean, YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH DOING ANYTHING on TV? CHECK IT OUT!
