CHEER CLINIC INFO: For those of you who havent registered yet here is a few important details about tomorrows clinic. Hope to see you all tomorrow!! 1.) We provide 12 oz water bottles for a dollar, this is a gym fundraiser we are doing to pay for our spring floors. 2.) We will be having a half hour lunch break from 12-12:30, we ask that the athletes stay at the gym during lunch, they can bring a lunch with or you can bring it to them at that time. 3.) Please wear sweats, leggings, shorts or other athletic type bottoms, a nice fitting shirt, socks, clean tennis shoes and hair up off your face and shoulders. 4.) If you are planning on participating in the parade we need to have your shirt size and the shirt paid for, no later then Saturday May 31st. We also wanted to let you know that some of the kids are planning on wearing costumes. If you dont want to wear a costume please wear the Vertex T-shirt you just purchased at the clinic, black or blue shorts, white socks & white or light colored tennis shoes. The costumes we are planning will include the Vertex shirt, a strawberry tutu & rainbow or brightly colored knee high socks and white or light colored tennis shoes. We are having a tutu making party at the gym on Wednesday June 4th at 5:00pm. You will need 4 to 7 yards of red tulle depending on the size of your athlete. You will also need enough green ribbon to wrap around your athlete twice. To make this tutu making party just a little more fun we are going to also have a potluck that will start around 6. We are asking for everyone to bring finger type foods to share and a chair per person. You dont have to stay for this if you dont want. 5.) We will be decorating our parade float on Thursday June 5th starting at 5:00pm at the gym. Please feel free to come on by and help if you can and we should have our shirts to hand out by then. We need candy to hand out if you can please donate a bag. We also are in need of regular size vinyl records if you have any you could donate to us. 6.) The Grand Parade will be staging in the Wal-Mart Parking lot this year. We will be arriving there at 8am for judging, we need everyone to arrive at 10am by the absolute latest. The Parade will follow north along Hwy. 20 to Rose st. then west on Rose st. where it will disband onto 3rd and 5th st. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!
