CHEF: Definitely, this is the feel-good movie of the month and most likely the year. Written, directed and starring Jon Faverau, the film has a simple plot about a chef who is fired and decides to hit the road with a food truck in order to regain his passion for cooking and reclaim his estranged family. It is told with such warmth and humor that you will be smiling throughout. No guffaws, no laugh out loud moments but instead some beautiful food photography that will have your mouth watering. The supporting cast is unbeatable with the talents of John Leguizamo , Bobby Cannavale, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, Oliver Platt, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Downey Jr. and newcomer Emjay Anthony as the chefs son. Sometimes simple, straight forward story telling hits the mark. This one is a bullseye! Its yummy!
