CHEFS TONY AND MAGGIE VISIT THE HERD: The acclaimed chefs of Father John’s visited the herd at Wild Winds this past Memorial Day weekend. Every fall at Wild Winds, 2 1/2 year old bison bulls give up their lives at round-up. The meat they supply helps monetarily to support the rest of the herd, as it also nourishes their two-legged brothers and sisters. It is the circle of life. Tony and Maggie respect the sacrifice these young bison have made, and prepare the bison meat with love, honoring that sacrifice.
