CHEQUEMATE!! While I have no issue with Dennis playing it by the book and that includes buying Ballynahinch Castle hotel in Connemara, County Galway, sources tell me that Denis is paying his hotel staff using cheques drawn on a Maltese bank account. What is unusual or maybe not considering who is issuing them, is that the staff are allegedly receiving these cheques in full with no deductions for any tax or social welfare obligations. Does this mean that Denis either hasnt got an Irish bank account or is again avoiding tax albeit on a much more minor scale than his €50 million tax takeaway that he managed to get out of by removing the kitchen in a €7 million property on leafy Shrewsbury Road in Dublin 4 and then claiming non residency? It may seem quite a small a small amount of money in the grand scheme of thing it would be a serious offence if any Irish company were to do the same so why does Denis do it? It also leaves the staff in a precarious position regarding future welfare entitlements. Im going to kill two birds with the one stone here and I hope that Denis had a happy Christmas and a happier New Year in his Connemara castle. Having arrived on the 23rd of December and left on the 3rd of January with a scrumptious Christmas dinner in between, thrown for 130 of his best friends and associates. Funny in that Deniss private jet took off on the 27th of December to an unknown destination but no Denis on board... Distraction techniques are all the rage these days, it seems! The new media have eyes everywhere...
