Checks actions in PeopleSoft (CHRIS), NFC and other systems. Consults with and processes life event changes for employees. Prepares new hire information packages as needed. Enters new employee data in MyEnroll. Updates MyEnroll data as needed. Contacts new employees for benefits follow-up. Completes SPPS correction actions as needed. Completes Service credit and military deposits. Runs requested reports as needed. Enters employee service history in FRB calculator. Calculates retirement estimates as needed. Calculates SCDs as needed. Assists with conference and recruiting events as needed. Provides other support to benefits specialists as needed. Prepares employee separation and TCC packages as needed. Requirements: Minimum high school diploma. College degree desirable but not necessary. Minimum 3 years’ experience directly related to Benefits. Experience with NFC and PeopleSoft (CHRIS) systems. Demonstrates ability to process benefits actions within these systems. Demonstrates ability to perform SPPS actions and life events updates. Demonstrates ability to complete military deposits and service credit deposits. Knowledge of SCD date computation. Demonstrates ability to review service history, and ability to enter data in the retirement calculator and prepare retirement estimates. Knowledge of NFC personnel/payroll processing. Strong oral and written communication skills and strong customer service skills.
