CHILDREN OF THE WAR 2.5 million Syrian refugees live in camps in foreign countries, under poorest conditions, haunted by their memories of the war and the loss of their families and friends. They have no hope ever tomreturn to their home-country and if some of them succeed to do so, they will be lost. And still they smile, like Hany and his little brother, because having survived is already a miracle and a privilege. Look at these war children and you will understand what war is about: apart from the thousands of innocent victims, senselessly killed, apart from the waste and burnt lands: destruction of hope for many future generations.
